Working at One Further

The One Further team is a 100% remote company, with an emphasis on flexible working, low stress, high ambition and only working with the best clients.

We’re always on the lookout for talented people who want to help us make a difference to cultural and non-profit organisations around the world.

  • One Further is a remote company, which means we don’t have a central office. We’ve worked this way since the company was founded in 2013.

This lets us hire the best people from around the UK, without requiring everyone to coincidentally live in the same city.

Everyone gets to work from the comfort of their own home, or from anywhere else that works as a productive space. Want to pop to the local library or café for a change of scenery? If it works for you, then it works for us.

  • Maintaining a decent work-life balance helps us all be happier and more productive. It’s a win-win.

Life is complicated at the best of times, so we like to keep things simple. If you want to go for a run during daylight hours, or if the kids need picking up early from school, it’s not a problem.

We make a point of only hiring professionals who are good at their jobs and can be trusted to get the work done.

    You’re a grown-up and we’ll treat you like one.

  • You’ll be encouraged to actively develop your skills, confidence and sector profile. We’ll make sure that you’ve got the right tech and equipment to do your job successfully from home.

We’re a friendly bunch and feedback on projects is always honest and constructive. We encourage a culture of continual learning and development.

  • We have a policy of only working with good people.

The projects we work on can be complex and challenging, but we always aim to make the experience enjoyable and low-stress - for us and the client.

We choose to work with arts and cultural organisations because we want to help them make a positive contribution to the world. It doesn’t hurt that most people working in the sector are lovely.

  • Working from home can feel isolating, but not the way we do it. As well as the usual chat channels and video meetings, we also arrange fun online activities and in-person meet-ups.

In the last couple of years we’ve done online escape rooms, drawing games, toured Shakespeare’s Globe and the Tower of London, visited the Mexican Geniuses exhibition and the Tate Modern and defended a pirate ship in VR.
