Introducing… Coach: digital training for culture professionals

A couple of weeks ago, we launched Coach: digital training for cultural professionals. Here’s a bit of info about what it is and why we’ve launched it.

Background

I’m asked to do a lot of training on all sorts of topics. Often it’s individual clients wanting us to come in and deliver a session for a team on a subject (either Google Analytics, SEO, or some aspect of digital advertising). I also really enjoy delivering sessions for groups on behalf of organisations like the Arts Marketing Association and London Museum Development.

I’ve been thinking for a while that shifting our training online would help to deal with these two things, and if we could get the format right we’d be able to provide great training for a great price.

And then lockdown came along, and everyone started getting used to the idea of this sort of thing being delivered online.

I was asked to deliver lots of webinars in April and May, and when the initial flurry of those died down it seemed like a good time to launch something like Coach.

The Coach formats

Coach is built around a few different session formats.

Online training sessions & updates

These are very practical, 1 hour sessions. The aim is to give people a good grounding in a topic so that they can go away able to do something they couldn’t do beforehand.

Topics will include digital analytics, search engine optimisation, Google Ad Grants, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics 4 and more.

Guided courses

These focus on particular topics and go into detail, bringing you up to speed as quickly as possible. We’ve covered Google Analytics 4, YouTube Strategy, Facebook Ads and more, with more courses coming soon.

How to sign up

We want to give as many people as possible the option of benefiting from Coach, while at the same time making sure that we can deliver value worth paying for.

There are two plans:

  • With Coach: All Access you get instant access to everything, including upcoming courses and sessions for as long as your subscription is active. There’s a subscription tier for teams as well, so you can get everyone on board.

  • Alternatively you can sign up to individual courses, if you only want to know about one topic. But, really, the best value is absolutely in the All Access subscription.

Head over to Coach to find out more.
