Conferences and events for arts marketers in 2025

We’ve put together a selection of conferences and events relevant to arts marketers in the UK to help you plan your 2025. If you’re looking to get tickets or even pitch an idea for a talk, take a look at our round-up and mark the dates on your calendar.

If you know about an arts marketing event that’s not on this list, let us know and we’ll take a look.

Arts and tech conferences

REMIX Summit - 28-29 January, London

This has already been and gone, but the on-demand digital recording ticket is still available. REMIX is two days of talks, discussions and networking about the intersection of culture, technology and entrepreneurship. One of the more expensive tickets, but if you’re interested in future innovations do check it out.

AMA Conference - 9-11 July, Edinburgh

The theme for this year’s AMA Conference is ‘amplify’. We’ll be at this one, so do come say hello – keep an eye on our LinkedIn page for details closer to the time.

AMA Digital Marketing Day

The main AMA Conference covers arts marketing in general, while the follow-up AMA Digital Marketing Day focuses on the online specifically. Dates and theme for 2025 are not yet announced, though last year's event took place in November and was about ‘being human’. We will most likely be in attendance, once more details are available.

Museums conferences

MuseumNext: AI Summit - 26-27 March, virtual

This is the one for you if you work in museums and want to know about the impact and potential of artificial intelligence. It’s not easy to keep up with the fast moving field of AI, and how it affects museums. This summit may be exactly what you need to stay on top of the latest developments.

MuseumTech - 2 April, London

The Museums Association’s tech-focused festival is all about digital literacy and how technology can be deployed in museums. One Further’s Georgina Brooke will be speaking, so don’t miss her panel.

Museums+Heritage Show - 14-15 May, London

Free admission to this, with a two-day programme of talks, exhibitors, masterclasses and networking. The focus is on innovation, best practices and the latest solutions for the sector.

MuseumNext Digital Summit - 23-23 July, virtual

Following March’s AI summit, MuseumNext is back with a broader focus on digital in the museum space. This is an online event, which you can attend live or on-demand.

Museum Ideas International Conference - 17 September, London

An international gathering of museum experts, examining the future of museums and how they can be reimagined in turbulent times.

MuseumNext Digital Collections Summit - 25-26 September, virtual

Topics for the MuseumNext Digital Collections Summit include digitisation, collection management, online curation and storytelling.

If you want to know more about online collections, we have our own benchmarking report in the form of Discovering Online Collections. The report’s findings remain very relevant in 2025 – plus, it’s free to read and download!

Museums Association Conference - 7-9 October, Cardiff

Europe’s largest museum conference takes place this year at the Sain Ffagan Amgueddfa Werin Cymru – St Fagans National Museum of History in Cardiff. While the MuseumTech show in April focuses specifically on digital, the October conference is a wider-ranging meeting of museum minds.

Ticketing conferences

Ticketing Professionals Conference - 19-21 March, Manchester

TPC is not specifically aimed at the arts and cultural sector, instead being an educationally-led event for the entertainment ticketing sector. Lead sponsors include Tessitura and Spektrix, which does make it relevant to a large number of GLAMs and performing arts organisations. If your organisation sells tickets or manages a venue, take a look.

TLCC- 8-9 April, London

The Tessitura Learning & Community Conference goes a step further than TPC, and will likely only be of interest to you if you’re using or considering moving to Tessitura for your ticketing. There’s two days of learning and community building, so you can make sure you’re making the most of your ticketing provider.

SEO & analytics conferences

BrightonSEO - 10-11 April & 23-24 October, Brighton (obviously)

This bi-annual event is all about search marketing, and isn’t specific to the arts and cultural sector. If you’re responsible for SEO on your website, you’ll find useful networking, training and discussions. It’s never a bad idea to pick up tips from outside the world of arts and culture. BrightonSEO also hosts an annual conference in San Diego – still called BrightonSEO.

MeasureFest - 23-24 October, Brighton

The October instalment of BrightonSEO includes MeasureFest, a spin-off strand that zeroes in on web analytics and conversion rate optimisation. Again, this is not specific to museums, theatres or other cultural organisations, but you’ll likely pick up some ideas from beyond the sector that can then be applied to your own work.
